My work is often inspired by the wide assortment of beads I work with and my obsession with achieving a pleasing "intentionally random" design. I'm attracted to the imperfect, the organic, and the uninhibited. I love how a pattern doesn't have to be symmetrical for our mind to perceive it as balanced.

Hi! I'm Claire, the creator, designer, and bead enthusiast (read: hoarder) behind Crowded String. I have been making jewelry almost all my life, selling pieces for a few years, and finally in the spring of 2020 Crowded String was born.
